Could You be a Physician? Take This Test and Find Out Now!

Tuesday December 18, 2007
Are you in medical school, pre-med, or even thinking of becoming a physician? If so, you might want to try these sample questions as a pre-test, to see if you've got what it takes to be an M.D. These questions are taken directly from the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Exam), which, as its name implies, is required of all physicians after completion of medical school, before obtaining licensure to practice medicine.

In reality, the USMLE is a grueling, three-step test, with each step consisting of one to two days of testing! Luckily for you, the Boston Globe included just a handful of questions... so good luck! After you complete the test, please come back and let us know how you did! If you score really well, you might want to check out the physician career profile, or perhaps ask yourself a few thought-provoking questions before you embark on your new career as a doctor!

Cheers, and Happy Health Careers!
