In a previous post when I covered some non-clinical jobs for physicians, the response was great, so I've also added some information regarding non-clinical jobs for nurses. Many of the non-clinical job options are similar for nurses and doctors. However, some of the trends for nurses vary from those of physicians leaving clinical practice. To get a first-hand perspective, I gathered input from a number of sources including a nurse who left her bedside role in patient care to start her own consulting business. There are varieties of nurse jobs other than clinics or in hospital settings. Schools districts employs nurses, insurance companies are always looking for nurses to work as case mangers
