US News and World Report released its newest report on America's Best Hospitals for 2009-2010. The report ranks hospitals in 16 different specialties, including cardiac care, cancer treatment, orthopedics, and geriatric care. Children's hospitals were also rated.
Hospitals earning spots on the "Honor Roll" are those facilities which won high scores on six or more categories. Of the 21 hospitals on the Honor Roll, Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, MD, topped the list, followed by the Mayo Clinic in the number two spot, and UCLA Medical Center in third place overall.
