Many of the most lucrative healthcare careers require undergraduate or graduate education, and even some post-graduate training. Healthcare workers often enter the workforce with substantial student debt. Therefore, $20,000 in tuition assistance could be particularly helpful for many new and future healthcare professionals.
One company wants to help you tweet your student debt away, or at least part of it.
MassMutual, or Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, has launched a new Facebook campaign allowing users to enter a contest to win $20,000 toward their student debt. How does one win the tuition money? By simply crafting the best tweet (a message in 140 characters or less) describing "what you think you could be doing to save money and pay down student debt faster."
Check out the MassMutual Facebook page to enter the contest and compose the winning tweet! The contest ends on February 14, 2013. Even though your odds of winning the contest are probably fairly slim, participating only takes a few minutes, and it's certainly much simpler than going online to find a wealthy benefactor to fund your education.
