Medical Job Boards - Search and Apply for Medical Jobs

Find Available Healthcare Jobs on Medical Job Sites

By , About.com Guide

Job boards are a great tool to find out who is hiring, and where the jobs are in healthcare. However, they should be utilized in combination with other search methods for optimum success. Job boards are a numbers game - the response rate is typically pretty low. However, in the medical field, if you possess the education and training required, you should get a lot of hits. And beware of anyone asking you to work from home and make bank transactions for a fee!

HealthECareers / Medhunters

These two sites, HealthECareers and Medhunters, recently merged into one. Here you will find listings in Healthcare Administration, Operations, Allied Health, Biotechnology, Dental, Nursing, Pharmaceutical and Physician or Doctor Specialties

MD Jobsite

As the name would imply, MD Jobsite offers job postings only for physicians, however it covers all medical specialties.

Medzilla

Medzilla's primarily offers job listings in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and science sectors of healthcare.

PracticeLink

PracticeLink focuses on the physician market. However it does have options to post a CV or search jobs for other clinical roles such as nursing, allied health, or administrative and non-clinical roles. Also this is one of the few sites which does not allow recruiting firms to access the site. Only direct employers (hospitals, medical clinics, practices etc.) are allowed to sign on and search candidates.
